Summer is approaching us, and I can't believe it's almost here!

I am so excited! I'm going to Miami this summer, and I will DEFINITELY be going to the AGP Miami. Here is my wish list for AGP Miami:

-Sunny Isle Outfit ($28)
The colors are so cute and it's one of AG's best outfits in my opinion!

-AGP Exclusive Miami T-Shirt ($8)
I like to collect these from every store I've been to! So far I have 3 :)
-A MAG Doll that looks like me ($124 w/ pierced ears)
MAG #40

MAG #30

I can't decide which one I should get! Which doll looks more like me? Please vote on my poll (it's on the left side of this website page) which doll looks more like me. If you don't know what I look like, I have several videos on my channel with my face on them :)

Also, I was planning on making some cool videos in Miami at the beach and the water park and places like that. So, I was wondering, would y'all be interested in that? They wouldn't be doll related, but they would be cool. I might get an underwater camera for this! So please vote if you're interested or not in those type of videos, and which channel they should be on.

The polls are currently not working! :( So leave a comment instead if you want to :)

Thanks so much for voting on the polls and reading my blog post! Love you!

Update on GOTY Isabelle!

All right everyone. New pictures have been posted, and I may have fallen a teeny bit in love with Isabelle.
For those of you who haven't seen GOTY 2014- Isabelle's new pictures yet, here's two for you (I don't take credit for these pictures):

Now that we see these high quality, gorgeous photos, I think she's gorgeous!

Sooooo...... I think I might be buying Isabelle next month....

Why? Here are five solid reasons-

  • I only have two blonde dolls, so she will definitely add diversity!
  • That way I'll keep my GOTY collection complete- I'll have dolls 2010-2014
  • I'll be able to make reviews and tutorials for my Youtube viewers
  • She has the SAME EXACT name as me!!!
  • She is ballet dancer (like me!!!)
Although I'll be in Hawaii during Isabelle's AGP reveal, I will go to the AGP as soon as I get back from vacation to buy her and make some Isabelle videos for you.

What do you think?

Opinions on GOTY 2014!

Of course, it's that time of the year again! Time for everyone to start saving up their money, in excitement for the new Girl of the Year! Yay!!!

For those of you who have NO knowledge on the GOTY 2014, I recommend you go watch this video and then come back here. :)
Here's the video:

Alrighty! Let's get down to business ;)
First off, I LOVE the entire idea. It is literally my dream doll idea come true. Why? Because my name is Isabelle. Spelled just like that: two ll's and an e at the end. Secondly, I dance ballet. 6 days a week. Ballet is my life. So basically, a doll thats named EXACTLY like me AND does ballet? PERFECT!!!

Except... not so perfect. Isabelle looks SOOO similar to a lot of the existing MAG's out there (#27's sister?) Additionally, I'm getting tired of the blonde Barbie dolls- Lanie, McKenna, Caroline, Marie-Grace. The purple ombre clip in hair is a touch trashy in my opinion. If I wanted to have a purple haired doll, I wouldn't invest 100+ dollars. American Girl is a classy, sophisticated brand. Purple hair extensions are not so.

Especially since AG is all about the no makeup, no hair dye deal! In their AG Magazine, all photos are requested to be submitted with "No makeup/dyes please. We want to see your natural beauty." What happened to natural beauty shining through? This next year, we'll be seeing little girls with crazy dyed hair. I get that dip dye is a trend, but it was trendy in late 2012- early 2013. Not 2014.

This collection also looks a little dated- cheesy and overdone. Lots of cheap pink outfits- not modern at all. A ballet student generally wears simpler/cleaner looking clothes. I get that the outfits should be fun and cute, but the outfits look similar to those on dolls at ToysRUs.

Lastly, the price! 120$?! For a GOTY. At this point, I don't even know anymore. They'll keep pushing prices because people will keep buying but...this brand has become unrealistic. Parents have a hard time spending 100$ on a doll. Those 20$ more is a little ridiculous.

Overall, I'm disappointed with Isabelle. I was so excited for a ballet doll with my namesake, but I'm not too excited with the collection. Of course, I may change my mind once I go see the collection in person, but right now, I'm a little disappointed.

However, I still LOVE American Girl and I'm still a huge fan of the MAG, Historical, and Bitty lines. A lot of the GOTYs end up being a hit and miss.

What do YOU think about Isabelle? Let me know in the comments below! :)

Love and Merry Christmas,
Bella <3

P.S. I'll probably end up getting Isabelle. I always have a tough time accepting the new GOTYs, but before the end of the year, the inner collector in me just can't resist. Especially if her name is Isabelle ;) We'll see.

Back to school!

I hope everyone has been having an amazing summer. Unfortunately, though, summer has ended and school is starting soon. I'm going into 9th grade/high school. What grade are you going into?

I've been working on my dollhouse with my dad (thanks Dad! I love you!) So far, we've bought all the materials and cleared out the closet. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of the month. Of course, however, furnishing will take forever. That's because doll furniture is definitely NOT cheap. However, I want to get it mostly furnished by Christmas. When I'm done, I'll definitely make a video, since a lot of you have been asking for one!

Right now, my poor dolls are stuffed inside a plastic drawer set until the doll house is done :( Hopefully they'll be out of there soon!

I just realized I actually didn't have that much to write....this post is pretty short then, I guess! I hope you all have an awesome school year and make lots of new friends and memories. Good luck!

Lots of love,

To-Do List for Summer 2013!

Hey! As most of you know from my newest video, I'm leaving for New York! I'M SO EXCITED! However, I have lots of things I want to do with my AGTube channel, and with my dolls in general. I don't want to forget anything while I'm in New York, so here is a to-do list of things you should expect to happen this summer.

Bitty Lila!

Hello! I haven't posted in forever!

I just wanted to update on my new Bitty, Lila. She is bitty number two, with light skin, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. And let me tell you, she is the cutest baby doll EVER. If you were thinking about purchasing one, 100% recommend bitties. They are soft and squishable and cuddly and cute. :D

People think that bitties are for little kids, but I think that we shouldn't limit ourselves because of our age. If you want a bitty, or any other toy that is considered "inappropriate" by society due to your age or gender, don't hold yourself back. Do what makes you happy. Does it matter what other people think?

As the school year comes to a close, that is the main theme that I have learned. Does it REALLY matter if everyone likes you? No. It matters if YOU like you. Because other people are not the most relevant to your life. You are the one who has to live with yourself, so do what makes you happy!

Haha, sorry. That turned into a motivational speechy blog post really fast. The point was, I love bitty babies, and if you love them, don't be afraid!

Love, Bella :)

AGMA Elimination

I got eliminated from AGMA this round. Although, of course, I am a tad disappointed, I'm going to make this a learning experience. I hope to improve my photography and learn from others, because I enjoy to take photos.

However, the longer I have been making videos, the more I have discovered filming and editing to be a passion. It is a really fun creative outlet for me, more so than photography. I think that it would be really fun to work in the movie business someday!

As for the elimination, I am glad that I was even able to participate. It was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see all of the other awesome photoshoots people will be posting!

Love, Bella
